One of the really nice things about being involved for so long in the barbel fishing scene is that I have been able to make a lot of good friends and acquaintances along the way.
Lee Fletcher is a man I have known for a good number of years. He is not only a brilliant angler but as a writer he ranks alongside the very best, and I mean the very best!
Lee is my friend.
It is a privilege for me to be able to share some of his work with you on here.

Lee has that wonderful gift of being able to transport the reader to the places he so vividly describes with each sentence. Not a single word is wasted as each line conjurs up the magical mystery of the riverbank and countryside that Lee loves and is able to convey so well.
If I could tap into just a tiny fraction of Lee’s way with words I would be one happy man!
