GUIDING DAYS UPDATE
It’s reaching the time of year when I start firming up my diary for the summer. I already have quite a few dates arranged and would encourage anyone who is thinking of booking a day to get in touch real soon.
I will be contacting everyone who has expressed an interest in the next week or so to sort out the most convenient dates and that includes those who made winning bids in the Barbel Society Auction.
I try to keep the dates down to two perhaps three guiding days a week, mainly to keep me fresh and totally up for it as they say. These days can be very long in the summer and I have to keep fit!
Don’t forget I tailor the day to your specific requirements and supply all bait and tackle if required. If we are fishing maggots or casters I will have a gallon on tap for the long summers day to ensure we don’t run out if the barbel are switched on and havin’ it!
There are also days I have lined up with my good pal Graham Elliott on the Wye, so once again the message is don’t delay. As the saying goes, once they are gone, they’re gone!
I’ll be keeping this message to the fore on the website for the next couple of months.
If you are interested in a day or two’s guiding then contact me at steve@stevepopebarbelfishing.co.uk. I’ll then speak to you on the phone to discuss your requirements to ensure you have a really good time.
