Steve Pope Barbel Fishing

Catch more barbel!

Are You Thinking About Going to The Wye for a Few Days ?

If so then you have arrived at the right place!

In conjunction with Peter Smith and the fabulous Caer Beris Manor we have a few places available for the holiday breaks that we run this coming summer.

*** For this coming season we are pleased to announce that we have secured an exclusive fishery that is full of barbel and chub. ***

Plus, you can drive along the whole stretch parking up behind your chosen swim. The fishery is superbly managed, totally natural but with comfortable access to the swims. There are any number of swims where you can fish under your rod top in six feet of water with overhanging trees affording more shelter – barbel paradise in my book!

This is a rare opportunity to fish a rather special place.

I will stay with our guests all day on this fishery giving help and guidance so that you get the very best from it.

After a full day on the river we’ll head back to the hotel where you will enjoy drinks in the fisherman’s bar and then sit down to a fabulous three course dinner.

This is a holiday for those who want something more from a few days fishing and a B and B, a memory that will last a long time, a memory that will not burn a hole in your pocket!!

The holidays on offer are tremendous value; there are full details on my Home page and on the Caer Beris Manor website.

Give the hotel a ring and they will give you all the information you need but don’t leave it too long, past experience has shown that we get a rush of bookings at this time of the year and as places are limited you may be disappointed if you wait too long!

See you there.

Steve

  1. Hi,

If you see this post by Steve don’t just think about it book it. I will be there for the third year in succession and I cannot speak to highly of all the people involved.
Steve and Peter (no relation) and all the staff at the Cear Beris hotel will ensure that your time is great, as to the fishing that is in the hands of the gods, but any time spent on the Wye is is time well spent.

    Tight lines
    Peter Rowe

  2. Hi,
As Steve says don’t leave it to late, I am returning for my third year in succession. A trip to the Wye and professional guidance something everyone should experience. I am there first week in September and look forward to meeting new people as well as old friends.

    Yours

    Peter Rowe

  3. Hi Peter, looking forward to seeing you again! Another good time guaranteed.

  4. I am sitting in the bar at the Cear Beris hotel after another Wye fishing experience. I would like to say thanks to that top man Steve Pope for great four days of fishing and I am looking forward to the possibilities of next year.
If you get the chance of meeting Steve and fishing with him on the Wye don’t miss the opportunity of life time.

Once again thanks and the reminder that there is always something new to learn, even for oldies like me
    Tight lines my friend.
